Support Act Limited

Five years ago, twelve Melbourne Music Industry mates got together for a lunch at the Old Waiters Club in the city. They did so because they were tired of never getting together socially due to work schedules. They also figured, doing it as a group, it would be more fun.

The lunch ended at 7pm and the Debonairs were born. Next lunch we had about 16 attendees. Now, in 2008, we have a Debonairs Lunch Group in three states and some 2000 Industry luminaries overall on our databases.

However the other reason for the Debs existing is perhaps even more commendable than a great lunch. Working alongside Support Act Limited in each state, they provide a huge pool of Industry talent and expertise that can be utilized in the many fund-raising activities that Support Act initiates. The Debs help is imperative to SAL.

And who said that going to lunch was a waste of an afternoon!
