Renee ignites support for the cause at Family Feud!
Last year the success of COUNTDOWN SPECTACULAR flowed on to Support Act, as artists nominated SAL as the charity to receive any prize money coming from their appearance on Channel Nine's All Star Family Feud.
Following the suggestion of Countdown Spectacular artist and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Renee Geyer, both artist teams agreed to nominate SAL, in recognition of its work in providing relief and assistance to members of the music industry who are in need of suffering hardship or distress.
Such leadership by our leading artists goes a long way to sustaining this vital charity.
The show aired on Monday 21st August, and provided sensational entertainment as well as good publicity for Support Act. Renee's team won and donated $15,000 to SAL!

Late last year Michael Chugg, Amanda Pelman and Billy Thorpe organised a sell-out fundraising concert for LOBBY LOYDE in Victoria and our SALVIC volunteers provided assistance on the night. A small percentage of the funds raised was donated to SAL.
The Golden Stave remain staunch SAL allies.
SAL received a large donation from The Pratt Foundation which was gratefully received.
