In only two years the ARIA Icons: Hall of Fame dinner has become one of the most sought after tickets in the music industry calendar. The 2006 dinner was a fantastic night with exceptional performances, especially by the sensational Chrissie Amphlett, and heartfelt speeches from the inductees Rose Tattoo, Lobby Loyde, Helen Reddy, Icehouse and Daddy Cool and The Divinyls. SAL would like to acknowledge that the ARIA Directors have designated SAL as the recipient of any profits from future ARIA Icons: Hall of Fame dinners for which we are extremely grateful.
The object of Support Act is to provide relief to music industry
participants who are in need or suffering hardship or distress.

Ways in which Support Act
lend a hand:
- By providing ongoing payment of household utilities and/or school fees
- Assisting with respite care
- Helping to pay relocation costs where this will bring the client closer to family or friends
- Paying funeral costs
- Supplying infrastructure such as computers for those who are unable to leave the house, or to enable seriously ill people better communication
- Purchasing and delivering second hand furniture to clients placed in government housing
- Funding families who have lost their breadwinner
- Payment of schooling, clothing and other activities for children of families in need courtesy of the Golden Stave donation.
