How you can help

Donate with Paypal

Support Act is reliant on donations and fundraising. It currently receives no Government funding. One quite well known music industry participant who was touched by adversity at one stage of his career has been donating a % of his annual earnings. During the last financial year administrative costs (after allowing for the specific donations given to cover the cost of administration and case work staff) represented only 7.5% of net revenue after fundraising costs.

Join Support Act: Membership is open to anyone, with a one off joining fee of $33. Please visit Join Support Act for further information and to join online.

Help raise funds: Fundraising is crucial. Support Act needs to raise at least $3000 per year per beneficiary and currently receives no Government funding.

  • Individuals: Contact us to set up a monthly donation or donate as a gift
  • Businesses: One option is to set up a Workplace Giving option for employees which enables Support Act to receive regular donations and also provides tax benefits for staff.

Bequests

It’s simple and straightforward to remember Support Act in your Will. If you would like to show your support for members of the Australian music industry who are in need as a result of illness, accident or other misfortune, you may wish to include a gift to Support Act Limited in your will. In doing so you are making a unique contribution to the wellbeing of others who depend on Support Act for help.

Should you wish to make Support Act a bequest, the following information may be useful as a guide. It is important, and Support Act recommends, that you consult a solicitor for independent and professional advice, whether you are updating an existing Will or making a new one. This will help ensure that your Will is valid and that your intentions and wishes are respected.
