Support Act member, musician and music lover David Johnston has very generously offered to donate to Support Act the entire profits, once printing costs are covered, from sales of at least the first print run of his new book The Music Goes Round My Head: Australian Pop Music 1964-69.

As you know I have been planning an idea for an annual ’super benefit’ to raise funds for SAL. This would ideally take place around Christmas and be of the same scale at LWTTT.

Support Act Limited (SAL) was formed as a registered charity in 1997 by a group of concerned music industry veterans who could see that there was a definite need for an organization to assist members of the music industry who were in need or suffering hardship.
