Support Act chosen as recipients of profits from 4th Annual EG Awards
The fourth annual EG Awards return to St Kilda's Prince Bandroom on November 20 and once again Support Act has been chosen as the fortunate recipient of profits from the night.

The original line-up of the legendary Melbourne punk band, Painters and Dockers, will reform for a one-off show at this year’s Age EG Music Awards at the Prince Bandroom on Friday, November 20. They will be inducted into the EG Awards Hall of Fame and play all their hits for the last time!
The night will celebrate some of the best local music of the year.
Dynamic Melbourne rockers the Dacios will kick off the evening, followed by the presentation of the EG Awards for the (publicly voted) best music of 2009 and the prestigious Hall of Fame award, which is named the Waldo in honour of the late EG editor and Age writer, Steve Waldon.
Then the guests, including Tex Perkins, Bertie Blackman, Dan Sultan, Henry Wagons and the Wolfgramm Sisters, will join the EG Allstars for two songs each (an original and some covers) before the Hall of Famers hit the stage to perform classics such as Nude School, Die Yuppie Die and Kill Kill Kill for the last time.
Doors open at 8pm for the event, hosted by Triple R's Fee B-Squared and presented by Coopers Beer and Triple R. Tickets ($35 plus b/f) from princebandroom.com.au, the Prince public bar and independent record stores.
Online voting for the EG Awards opens on October 16 via theage.com.au
